I think it’s safe to say that our Indian summer has definitely come and very quickly disappeared. Let the season of colds, sniffles and coughs begin! In celebration of sniffles season, Heinz is launching a Facebook initiative that lets you send a personalised can of get well soup to your not so well friends and loved ones.
For the month of October, Heinz Facebook fans can buy a can of soup and personalise it with their friend’s name or, presumably, their nickname… weedy-wet, hypochondriac, and phlegmy come to mind.
Heinz will then print said name onto a can of either cream of tomato or chicken-flavoured soup and deliver it to the sickly recipient. The service — which was devised by digital agency We Are Social – costs £1.99 and can be bought through the brand’s Facebook page.
The only problem is that it takes around 3-4 days for delivery, by which time the patient is likely to have recovered.
